FAQ
Common questions about the timetable
Why is there no departure for my date? +
Most likely the season. Adler-Schiffe operates 42 of the 56 routes in this region, and their 2026 timetable ends on 1 November. The new season is not published until spring. Year-round services are Dagebüll - Föhr - Amrum, the hallig routes from Schlüttsiel and the ferry Nordstrand - Pellworm.
How far ahead does the published timetable reach? +
For the Wyker Dampfschiffs-Reederei routes to 12 December 2026; the next timetable period starts on 13 December 2026. The Pellworm ferry from Nordstrand is published to 31 December 2026. For the Adler-Schiffe line, depending on the route, to 21 October (Heligoland), 29 October (Pellworm) or 1 November 2026.
Why do I find nothing on the hallig line on some days? +
Because it does not sail daily in the winter half-year. Between Schlüttsiel, Hooge and Langeneß the MS Hilligenlei stays in port on Mondays and Wednesdays; on Saturdays and Sundays there is one sailing instead of two.
Are the connections shown direct sailings? +
Why is no fare shown next to the departures? +
Because the price depends on ticket type, age and vehicle, and changes with the season. You will see it at the operator's booking step - more on the fare structure on the fares page.
