In the summer half-year, yes - and that is what makes this region special. The MS Adler-Express links Hörnum on Sylt, Amrum, the Hallig Hooge, Nordstrand and Pellworm. Year-round the W.D.R. sails between Föhr and Amrum and between the halligen Hooge and Langeneß.

The MS Adler-Express routes, the MS Adler CAT sailings to Heligoland from Amrum and Hörnum, and every route of the W.D.R. and the Neue Pellwormer Dampfschiffahrt. Everything running from Föhr or Dagebüll into the Adler network, and the remaining Heligoland services, are through-tickets with a change of vessel.

Directly only from Amrum (85 minutes) and Hörnum (two and a half hours), each once a day until 21 October 2026. From every other North Frisian port with a change of vessel. The mainland feeder services from Cuxhaven, Hamburg and Brunsbüttel are on faehren-helgoland.de.

No. The Wadden Sea network of Adler-Schiffe leaves Langeneß out. The hallig hangs off the line from Schlüttsiel alone - to combine it with a second island, plan via Hooge.

It depends on the vessel: the ferries from Dagebüll to Föhr and Amrum carry vehicles, as does the car ferry from Nordstrand to Pellworm. The Adler-Schiffe Wadden Sea lines are excursion and catamaran services. Clarify carriage and surcharge with the operator before booking.
