Ferries to Hooge

Hallig Hooge lies in the middle of the North Frisian Wadden Sea and is the hub among the halligen: this is where the year-round supply line from Schlüttsiel and the summer excursion network of Adler-Schiffe meet. Eight ports stand in its summer timetable, two of them in January as well.
From Schlüttsiel: the year-round line
Seventy-five minutes aboard the MS Hilligenlei of the Wyker Dampfschiffs-Reederei, two departures per operating day. The ship calls at Schlüttsiel, Hooge and Langeneß in sequence; each leg is sold separately.
From Amrum: the shortest leg
Twenty to thirty minutes with the MS Adler-Express, two departures per operating day. It is the shortest connection in the entire North Frisian network - but only from late March to early November.
From Nordstrand and Pellworm
From Nordstrand it is 62 to 70 minutes, from Pellworm 50 minutes. Both routes are sailed by the same MS Adler-Express; to Pellworm there is usually one departure a day in the schedule.
From Hörnum on Sylt
Seventy to 82 minutes, two departures per operating day. That makes Hooge reachable from Sylt as a day trip - the outward and return sailings on the same day are both in the timetable.
To the neighbouring Hallig Langeneß
Thirty minutes, on the same run of the MS Hilligenlei and therefore year-round as well. Anyone wanting to see both halligen plans across this short hop.
To Heligoland and Föhr: with a change
Adler-Schiffe also sells through-tickets from Hooge to Heligoland and to Föhr. Neither is a direct sailing - in the schedule data none of these journeys carries a single through vessel. To Heligoland the journey takes a good two hours; in 2026 the timetable reaches to 21 October.
